Ann Charles

Ann Charles is a home educated grown up from the UK. She has never been to school and is passionate about ensuring the option to home educate is still available for future generations. Ann moderates numerous national home education support groups on social media and is a trustee for the Centre for Personalised Education (CPE). During lockdown, Ann was part of a team that supported over 10,000 parents who normally use school to navigate remote distance learning. Ann is also heavily involved in the creation of two new non-profit organisations to support the home educating community: Home Education Law Project (HELP) and Joy Baker Fund, both of which aim to ensure that the law surrounding home education is properly implemented and understood.
