As a parent, you want to ensure that your child is emotionally intelligent and equipped to face the challenges that lie ahead. Home education offers a unique opportunity to foster emotional intelligence in children as they learn in an environment where they feel most emotionally secure.
Recent research from the Health Foundation’s Networked Data Lab has shown that the number of young people with probable mental health conditions has increased by 60% in 2021 compared to 2017. Feeling let down by mainstream education, more parents are turning to home education, when their children are struggling mentally in a traditional school setting.
Sven Lauch, an accredited Emotional Logic coach and home-educating father of a 10-year-old, will be sharing his professional experience working with neurodiverse households, as well as his own journey of home education with his son.
During this session, you will discover the important role that emotions play in personal growth. You’ll also learn how to become a positive role model to your child that promotes emotional safety. Additionally, we’ll explore the four phases of a creative and emotionally safe conversation, providing you with valuable insights into how to engage with your children in a safe and productive way. By the end of this session, you’ll be equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to cultivate a more emotionally intelligent and positive approach to your interactions with your children.
